Aim of course

This lecture will be cancelled in winter term 2018 and probably held again in summer term 2019!

 

  • Theory of Spiral Dynamics: To learn about the latest developments according to theory
  • Discussion of practical results from the students' own experiences and from the value research
  • Presentation of the possibilities of the development of organizations on the basis of the presented theory of values
  • Learn about practical examples of organizational structures of existing companies in and outside of Austria
  • Discussion of possibilities for the organic growth of start-ups with entrepreneurs and founders

Subject of course

1. Summary of the Spiral Dynamics theory
2. Establishment, development and further development possibilities of organizations
3. International Examples et al. According to Frederic Laloux, Reinventing Organizations
4. Austrian examples (democratic companies, networks, social enterprises) compared to European and Anglo-American companies
5. Personal knowledge of founders and executives or entrepreneurs from the described new entrepreneurial structures in Austria
6. Developing the question: What is a "value-based" development of organizations?
7. Discussion with executives and entrepreneurs about the results
