Students who have successfully passed this seminar, together with the course 188.952 Advanced Model Engineering (2 VU), have a profound understanding of selected advanced topics of model engineering.
In the seminar, students will elaborate a scientific paper for a well-defined topic comprising around 10 pages. Thereby, the students will choose a topic from a catalog of pre-defined topics in the area of advanced model engineering together with the course advisors. Subsequently, they will conduct a literature search and elaborate their seminar papers. In a closing workshop, the students will present and discuss their results with the other students participating in the seminar.
Attendance at the preliminary discussion, lectures, and workshop is mandatory.
