Aim of course

Students should develop and evaluate innovation projects using case studies and their own work. This also includes a prototypical implementation. The lecture is given in English.

Subject of course

The theoretical background of the course is based on an introduction to innovation. Based on the background business ideas, business models, and business plans need to be identified and developed.

The students work has to be prepared and presented (in groups of 5 people) in three presentations:

1. Description of the idea (personal meeting).

2. NABC and business model presentation.

3. Final business plan presentation (including a prototype and a short video).

Finally, students have to deliver a final report.

Precondition for participation, you must satisfy all three (!):

a) Master student, b) registration in the course, c) attendance in the preliminary discussion.

The lecture is part of the business informatics master studies. Consequently, the successful completion of the bachelor studies is a precondition!
