After successful completion of the course, students are able to handle a diversity of multimedia content in practice and apply this knowledge during the self-dependent development of a game or an application using Unity 3D game engine.
The content of the course is media programming and handling of multimedia (video, audio, graphics, animations,...) in a game or an application in practice through the development of a 3D game or a 3D game-engine-based application using Unity game engine.
The work is performed in small groups (2 students). At the beginning of the course, there are several lectures (tutorials) where the basics of 3D scene creation and the handling of multimedia content in Unity are explained. During the term, the students will be supported and supervised via the TUWEL forums. Weekly offices hours will be offered as well to answer questions on live.
After registration in TISS the corresponding TUWEL course can be accessed from 03.03.2023. After this, the introductory lecture will also be accessible in TUWEL. It contains all the details for the further registration process and grading.
All the other lectures will also be accessible in TUWEL after the announced dates (approx. weekly).
