After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply selected aspects of the methods discussed in the corresponding lecture in their implementation and to test them in a practical application. They can critically evaluate their results and prepare them for a presentation.
In the exercise, students can choose between two main topics, namely (1) literature review and (2) implementation. The first option is similar to writing a seminar paper where students have to work on an agreed topic and present it at the end of the semester. With the second option students have to implement selected algorithms for the analysis of human motion and present the obtaioned results at the end of the semester.
The preliminary meeting takes place on March 23rd, 2022, from 10-12 a.m. in the Seminarraum FAV 01 B (Seminarraum 187/2) seminar room.
This course and the corresponding exams are planned as in-person sessions. If the circumstances make that impossible, parts of the course will be held in a distance-learning format. If that should be the case, you will be informed in advance!
Please note that this course will be offered every other semester; thus, the next course will be offered in the summer term 2024.
Students are graded based on the quality of their submitted exercises, an accompanying oral discussion, and the official group presentations at the end of the semester.
