Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply selected aspects of the methods discussed in the lecture in their implementation and to test them in a practical application. They can critically evaluate their results and prepare them for a presentation. In addition, students have tested and improved their ability to work collaboratively within a team.

 

 

Subject of course

The course consists of three exercise sheets. The aim is the practical application of the theoretical aspects covered in the lecture VO Video Analysis, such as filtering, matting or tracking via Optical Flowin the field of video editing. The results of this course are to be critically evaluated and analyzed by the students.Information regarding the exercises will be made available via TUWEL. The submission of the results as well as the registration for the final evaluation talks will be carried out via TUWEL as well. At the end of the semester, the results will be presented during the video event.

Additional information

The prelecture meeting takes place on Oct 9th, 2019, at 11 am in lecture hall FAV 1 (Favoritenstraße 9-11, ground floor). Please note that it is mandatory to attend the prelecture meeting.

This course represents 1.5 ECTS (= 38 hours). An estimate of 33 hours will be used for the implementation. Another 5 hours are required for the preliminary meeting and possible questions or problems as well as for the final discussion.
