This course focuses on the design of an OSC (OpenSoundControl) or Midi-based music production environment as well as on the construction of individual, project-specific interactive musical objects. It is divided into theory : experiment : practice, which are permanently interwoven. Theory : Introduction to current trends in technology philosophy and interaction design. Experimentation : designing and building a music controller with/without sensors. Practice : creating an improvisation or composition for the built controller (solo or within a band).Students will acquire the skills necessary to design and build basic electronic systems capable of capturing data from sensors and transmitting that information to synthesizers or interactive software using MIDI or OpenSoundControl protocols. At the end of the semester, the 'instruments' sent will be presented to the public in a concert (23.06.2023)
