Aim of course
Students learn theoretical, practical and technical aspects of cooperative work. This happens partly in lectures, partly in practical exercises, in which students work in groups and reflect on their group work. For analysis and reflection, concepts and mechanisms from CSCW are used.
Subject of course
The lectures contains following areas: * Theories and introduction to cooperative work * Organisational and practical aspects * IT-use to support cooperative work * Impacts of IT on work processes These aspects are dealt with not only theoretically but also practically. The practical part is then described and analyzed by the students. The credits are given both for the theoretical and practical part. There is a written exam for the theoretical part, and there are 5 group exercises for the practical part.
