Aim of course

Methods for machine understanding of digital images.

Topics: color and texture, Superpixel segmentation and grouping, vision models, shapes, neuropysiology and illusions, scene understanding, image understanding systems.

Subject of course

Advanced image analysis techniques from image acquisition to complex scene interpretation, including - Human visual system - Image formation - Mathematical Morphology - image segmentation - Colour image analysis - Texture analysis - Object recognition
