Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to design, realize, and evaluate simple pattern recognition systems, in particular regression, binary and multiclass classification, and clustering.

Teaching methods

  • Course is held as a frontal lecture with media support (mainly data projector).
  • Lecture slides and additional documentation will be provided.
  • Online e-learning platform of the TU Vienna (TUWEL) is used to distribute materials and to coordinate administration of this VO and the associated UE.
