After successful completion of the course, students are able to describe the basic theoretical concepts applied in visualization. In addition, they are able to solve programming tasks in visualization.
The lecture visualization gives an introduction to the concepts of scientific visualization, information visualization, and visual analytics. Didactical approach: topic is divided into sub-structures and presented with electronic slides.
In the lab part programming assignements are used to practically implement theoretical concepts of visualization. Didactical approach:
