Aim of course

Field related and methodical knowledge: The module offers basic information about visual computing and a critical insight into its theory and principles:
* Computer Graphics
* Computer Vision
* Digital Image Processing
* Visualization
* Augmented/Mixed/Virtual Reality.

Cognitive and practical knowledge: Through practical analysis of latest topics, methods and tools (like modern programming languages and environments), the following coginitive skills are imparted:
* Utilization of basic formal methods for definition, solving and evaluation of problems
* Methodic processing of problems, dealing with open/unspecified situations
* Outline and implementation strategies

Social expertise, innovation and creativity: The focus is on encouraging high creativity and innovation capabilities.
* Own initiative and curiosity
* Self organization and responsibility
* Competence in problem formulation and capability of solving problems
* Knowledge of own skills and borders, capability to take criticism
