Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to implement a practical project in algorithmics and algorithm engineering. This includes planning, modeling and specification of the requirements as well as the actual programming, experimental evalutation and documentation.

Practical assignment on an individual topic (algorithms and data structures, algorithm engineering, optimization, ...).

Teaching methods

Formal modeling and specification, design and selection of suitable algorithmic approaches, implementation in a suitable programming language, statistical evaluation of the experimental results, documentation
