Systematic research, presentation techniques, structured and concise communication of subject matter in oral and written form by working on a topic from the field of algorithms. Self-organization, self-accountability and proactivity are also exercised during independent research of the chosen topic, as is the scientific method.
Furthermore, short reviews of the term papers of other participants are written in order to become acquainted with the scientific peer review process.
