Excersises for the lecture information visualization.
The exercises are given in close combination with the accompanying lecture with the same name. See http://www.cg.tuwien.ac.at/courses/InfoVis/ Didactical Approach: The students are selecting in groups of in general two people a current scientific paper. They give a short presentation on the major topics of the paper. Furthermore they discuss which parts of the article they are going to implement how. In a second presentation at the end of the semester, the students present the achieved results. In another meeting with the supervisors the implementation and the achieved results are discussed/graded.
