After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand advanced methods concerning the visualization of medical data. These techniques encompass reconstruction, segmentation, surfaces rendering, volume rendering, interaction.

The lecture Visualisierung Medizinischer Daten 2 tells about partical applications of (bio-)medical visualisations and image processing. 

Theoretical lecture with slides, programming tasks.

ECTS-Breakdown (Estimation, Suggestion): 3 ECTS = 75 Hours

20 Hours Lecture
20 Hours Exam preparation
35 Hours Project

Oral examination, oral discussion on the programming tasks.

The course will not happen in the Winter Semester (WS 2019). It will be given again in the next Summer Semester (SS 2020).

If you have not taken 186.105: Selected Chapters from Medical Visualization, you can take it in the Winter Semester 2019.
