The students learn to apply the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during the studies to a particular problem in computer science. They learn to explore the state-of-the-art by searching and evaluating scientific literature. Based on the findings they develop theoretical and/or practical solutions.
The student negotiates an individual project topic with the advisor, does research on the topic, and develops a theoretical or practical solution. Depending on the topic, the outcome of the project may consist of a document, a program, or both.
