After successful completion of the course, students are able to autonomously complete medium sized projects from different areas of medical informatics respecting the state of the art and write a project report.

This course covers the following topics:

• Introduction into a defined project from the field of medical informatics. 
• Structured implementation of this project under simulated real-life conditions.

Didactic

The responsible research group communicates engineering and research views. Communication of the needed basics, information for additional research, presentation of real and often large case examples, proving and experience in creating concepts, projects and applications.

The grade is based on the evaluation of the project tasks and the written project report.
