Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

  • formulate and state a relevant problem of the respective discipline;
  • conduct systematic literature research;
  • apply a scientifically sound, methodologically comprehensible approach to problem solving;
  • write a bachelor thesis with a clear structure and layout, in an elaborate language, and with relevant citations.

Subject of course

The student negotiates an individual project topic with the advisor, does research on the topic, and develops a theoretical or practical solution.

The students search for relevant methods in literature, determine their suitability for the problem at hand, and apply one or more of them to solve the chosen task. They document their work and present the results.
