After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply methods of computer science to a given problem. They are able to analyze the problems, to choose adequate methods for its solution and to evaluate the result.
In addition, in 2023S, interested students would have the chance to familiarize themsellves with coding practices developed in cloud computing, in particular at Amazon AWS. For this, a TU Wien/Amazon AWS project course is offered in 2023.
Students who would like to attend this TU Wien/Amazon AWS project course, are required to register on TISS, within the registration platform of 184.693 Project in Computer Science 2 (2023S).
Student who are not interested in the TU Wien/Amazon AWS project course can still complete a project at the TU Wien. In this case, students negotiate an individual project topic with the advisor, does research on the topic, and develops a theoretical or practical solution. Depending on the topic, the outcome of the project may consist of a document, a program, or both.

Otherwise, students search for relevant methods in literature, determine their suitability for the problem at hand, and apply one or more of them to solve the chosen task. They document their work and present the results.
