Attention:
Effective for everybody who registered for Computer Science/Business Informatics for the first time: You have to complete the "Studieneingangsgespräche (STEG)"  to register for this course.

Due to technical reasons it takes up to two workdays after completion of the “Studieneingangsgespräch” to be able to register for the course.

 


Attention: Limited number of participants:
For this course there we have a limit of resources.
To ensure an adequate student staff ratio just a limited amount of participants can take part in the course.

Basically this course has an immanent testing character including several examinations. Each of these examinations has to be passed to get a positive degree for this course.

All students who are registered have the possibility to take part in the first Examination. Taking part in the following examinations is just possible for the best 375 students. Please consider the following information:

  • The first examination iis necessary to take part in the course.
  • The best 375 students are allowed to attend the course.
  • If you do not reach the minimim point level, you get a negative degree and the course is finished for you.
  • If you pass the examination with more than the minimum point level, and you are not within the best 375 students, you will be part of the waiting list. You will be prefered for the next term.

Semantic Data Modelling (EER), Relational Model, Query Languages (Relational Algebra, Tuple/Domain Relational Calculus, SQL), Design Theory for Relational Databases (Functional Dependencies, Normalforms).
