Advanced topics of distributed systems with an emphasis on dependability
During the lecture we present and discuss the theoretical foundations, fundamental problem structures, solution methods, and particular examples. During the lab, the students form small groups to design and implement different tasks. These solutions will be presented and discussed in the plenary. Moreover, each group will specify on a certain topic and present this to the plenary.
ECTS-Breakdown: 6 ECTS = 150 hrs, of which 28 hrs lecture, 14 hrs lecture preparation and repetition, 28 hrs student presentation, 80 hrs programming lab.
