The preliminary meeting will be conducted via Zoom. The further procedure is agreed upon.possible.
I intend to hold the theory part partly as a face-to-face event and partly in distance learning. In any case, the presentations should be held in person.
The reservation of lecture halls is not easy in SS 2023 due to a number of necessary rules: The number of participants is only clear after the preliminary meeting and the dates can still change if there are too many collisions with other lecturers. Since I have my own seminar room in the 19th district near Linnéplatz, I can offer this room for face-to-face events. This makes it much easier to choose an appointment. Before the preliminary meeting, please consider whether you agree to attending face-to-face events in the 19th district.
Further details on the process and registration - especially on group formation - at the preliminary meeting. The presentations are group work, ideally groups of 3 people each.
In recent semesters we have agreed to always hold all theory courses on the same day of the week. If this regulation is also desired in the summer semester 2023, my suggestion is 8 dates (plus reserve date), each on Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Other days of the week or times can be agreed upon in the preliminary meeting. Every working day is possible except Tuesday and Wednesday.
Suggestions for the theoretical part (blocked): every Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., except during the semester break.
In the preliminary discussion, (further) focal points of the seminar can also be determined together. Possible focus areas: "Python in the classroom", "Progressive Web Apps", "IoT and ioBroker". I ask for your suggestions.
The documents for the LVA are made available via TUWEL.
In the last few semesters, the use of Telegram has also proven itself, especially for inquiries, discussions and information that should be made available quickly. => Registration link . Registrations are now possible. Please use a user ID that shows a connection to your name.
Didactic and pedagogical basic knowledge is desired, but in any case an interest in these topics. Historical and theoretical backgrounds are also conveyed. The seminar is aimed at everyone who wants or has to give a lecture on computer science topics, not just active or future teachers.
The presentations will be held as face-to-face events on the following days. Suggestions for the presentations: June 14 to 16, 2023.
Guideline for the duration of the presentation: 25 minutes per group member.
Cost estimation:
15 h attendance in the preparatory phase
35 h elaboration of the term paper
20 h presentation and presence in other presentations
5 h follow-up (documentation)
------------------------------
75 h = 3 ECTS
