The aim of this lecture is to independently run a scientific project in the context of computer engineering and distributed automation. Thereby, scientific methodologies in computer science and computer engineering shall be studied and applied.
This lecture offers further the possibility to participate in recent scientific projects of the institute. It further offers the possibility to continue the work in the contest of a subsequent master thesis.
Students shall learn to work independently on a scientific problem. Thereby, literature studies and the scientific work according to the methodological approach as well as writing a concluding scientific paper are the main tasks of the lecture. Additionally, the lecture includes a presentation of the scientific results in front of a small audience. The students will be individually supported and advised. They have further the possibility to contribute to a scientific publication.
