Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

to create a project with a focus on customers and applicability. In addition to project management basics, product management and product development skills are taught.

Subject of course

Lectures on the following topics will be held as part of the course:

  • Development of business ideas/ product visions for Connected Car IT
  • Design thinking methodology, user-centric design
  • Product development: Agile Delivery (Scrum of scrum, DevOps)
    • Conception/ Analysis
    • Design
    • Implementation
    • Evaluation
    • Maintenance and further development
  • User Clinic
  • Product/Service Management based on DevOps

Teaching methods

Within the framework of the course, a project will be carried out in a group. The core of the task consists of the prototype development and evaluation of a mobile application for Android or iOS. Group members play different roles in product development: Product Owner, User, DevOps Engineer.
