After successful completion of the course, students are able to

work independently on Connected Car IT topics and apply basic knowledge in projects. The course imparts basic knowledge about the state-of-the-art in the Connected Car IT research area as well as detailed information on individual special topic blocks.

Business Models in the area of Connected Car IT
Approaches to vehicle development and Connected Car functions
User-Centric Design, Seamless Integration, Convenience
Service-oriented design vs. engineer-driven ingenuity
Integration Scenarios in the System Landscape
IT security and data protection in contradiction to swarm intelligence and value-added services

Interactive lecture on basic topics of Connected Car IT;
Discussions on current topics;
Discussion of individual topics through research and presentation
