Aim of course

Details on distributed automation systems and automation systems integration (horizontal and vertical integration).

Subject of course

This course addresses specific aspects of vertical integration and horizontal convergence at the management, automation and field level. In parallel, control networks are examined in detail. Special focus will be on interfacing with SCADA systems as well as simulation techniques.

The practical part of the course is dedicated to a target station connected via Industrial Ethernet components (PLC programming, integration via OPC (C++/C#), visualization, documentation via term papers).
