After successful completion of the course, students are able to
- design, develop and evaluate innovative interaction interfaces in the field of human computer interaction- apply the different phases and associated activities and methods in a user centered design process- apply structured methods for ideation and idea generation- implement new and innovative interaction paradigms.
The project is in the field of Human Computer Interaction and can be started continuously. The topic of the project must fit into an applied area of Human Computer Interaction (e.g. User Interface Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Accessibility, Frontend Development).
The project focusses on design, prototyping, implementation and evaluation of innovative interactive systems, e.g. in the areas of mobile computing, multitouch interaction, tangible computing and ubiquitous computing. Projects will be conducted in a User Centered Design process, where students can choose to focus on specific phases or methods (contextual analysis, design, implementation or evaluation). Depending on the size of the project it is possible to conduct the project in small groups.
Design, implementation and evaluation of a project in the field of human computer interaction in a user centered design process. Regular meetings with a supervisor to discuss progress.
