During the course of the lecture the following basic concepts of Information Systems in Health Care will be discussed: - Introduction in Health Care Information Systems as a computer science discipline - Basic concepts of enterprise Information Systems - Requirements of Information Systems - Integration of the Patient into medical treatment loop - Hospital Information Systems (HIS) - Telemedicine - Cross Institutional electronic patient records as well as relevant aspects of distributed systems and data privacy. The grading is done using a written examination about the topics presented in the lecture.
