After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand and apply proven techniques and methods for the strategic planning, management, and control of IT organizations, IT projects and IT processes. The course teaches leadership-supporting cross-sectional and coordination functions in order to ensure economic efficiency in all operational areas.
The course is divided into a lecture part and an exercise part. The lecture introduces the basics as well as different methods and techniques of IT organizations, IT projects and IT processes. The presented methods and techniques will be applied to selected examples. Within the scope of the exercise, tasks are to be worked out in small groups.

Evaluation of the papers with a final presentation and written examination at the end of the semester. To determine the final grade, the practice points and the result of the written examination are added together. The final grade is determined from the total points (maximum 100).
