Aim of course

Web Application Engineering is presented as an interdisciplinary subject with the use of a variety of tools and methods. The main part of the course are multiple practical tasks which will be completed in groups.

Subject of course

The course will discuss multiple topics, including:

  • Automatic deployment with Vagrant and Ansible
  • Usage of containers (Docker or Rkt)
  • Development of web backends and frontends (free choice of technology by the students)
  • Development of mobile native and hybrid apps
  • Technologies for load balancing and monitoring
