• Establish an agile software development process within a team
• Implement software in an agile and distributed environment
• Evaluate different software development processes and adapt them 
• Prepare and present scientific topics 

In this course, different agile software process models and current scientific research trends in software engineering are presented and practically applied.

The following methods are applied for this course:

• Discussions
• Working in small groups
• Literature research using common search engines
• Presentation of current trends and state-of-the-art
• Implementation of a software system following a software development process

Effort for the student (ECTS-Breakdown):

• Lectures: 8 h
• Practical part: 40 h
• Literature search: 5 h
• Preparation final presentation: 15 h
• Final presentations: 7 h
