Aim of course

This lecture shows how 3d acquisition and processing algorithms are used for practical applications. In this course methods to acquire and reconstruct the threedimensional world are presented and dicussed on the example of existing applications. All major algorithms like  Shape from Monocular Images, Shape from Stereo, Shape from structured Light und Motion, to represent the 3d-world in the computer are presented theoretically and shown in the lab practically (details can be found in the schedule. Furthermore for every 3d-acquisition strategy an industrial application is shown. In addition Labexercises will allow to scann and reconstruct a real 3d object using 3d algorithms.
