After successful completion of the course, students are able to plan and conduct small-sized scientific project from the area of computer engineering and to present the project results in an adequate way.
Running and managing a small-sized project: Definition, implementation, testing, and documentation of a defined computer-engineering projects.
Project topics may be from the following areas: CPS / embedded systems architectures, programming methods for CPS resp. embedded systems, CPS modeling, intelligent control, intelligent robotics, timing analysis, design/design tools for safety-critical real-time systems, fault tolerance, dependable systems, security in embedded systems, communication and network protocols for ES, etc.
Self-reliant work on a problem statement. Writing a scientific work. Presentation of the results. Possibilty to contribute to a scientific publication.
This course is recommended for students who wish to get to know the research areas and projects of our research group.
