Aim of course

The lecture conveys the theoretical background of the design of real-time systems. Central to the development of distributed real-time systems is the communication infrastructure between distributed components. Here, apart from the requirements of fault-tolerance and guaranteed real-time behavior, the uncoupling of the temporal behavior (temporal firewall) is of special importance.  In particular, we will cover following aspects:

  • Theoretical foundations for the design of distributed real-time systems
  • Theoretical foundations of cognitive complexity
  • Introduction to certification
  • Conceptional models for system design
  • Development cycle for embedded real-time systems

Achtung!

Die LVA "Embedded Systems Engineering" (ESE) im neuen MTI ist in den aktuellen Übergangsbestimmungen fälschlicherweise als äquivalent mit der gleichnamigen LVA im alten BTI als Pflicht-LVA ausgewiesen. Dies würde es für Absolventen des BTI nach Punkt (8) unmöglich machen, ESE neu zu besuchen und für den Abschluß des MTI zu verwenden. Die Übergangsbestimmungen des MTI werden daher dahingehend korrigiert, daß ESE alt und ESE neu als ergänzende Pflicht-LVAs gelistet werden, und darüberhinaus ESE neu als äquivalent mit der Wahl-LVA "Distributed Real-Time Systems Engineering" im alten MTI ausgewiesen wird.
