Solidifying and extending skills in applying computer engineering methods and techniques, in problem solving and in documenting the ones work.
Students are assigned problems (e.g., implementation, simulation, modelling, analysis of a problem) from the domain of computer engineering. The are expected to solve these problems by using the skills acquired during their studies and to document their solution in a written report.
Didactic concept: At the beginning of the course the assignment is discussed with the supervisor. Once the topic has been fixed students work on the topic and regularly report to the supervisor, to get feedback on the work done, to report and discuss problems, and to plan further actions.
Grading is based on active cooperation, project results and documentation.
Competence to solve problems, self management, funtional, methodical and practical skills required to work on the individual assignment.
