After successful completion of the course, students are able to conduct small projects in computer engineering, thereby applying problem-adequate methods and solution strategies and describing the resulting solution
Students are assigned problems (e.g., implementation, simulation, modelling, analysis of a problem) from the domain of computer engineering. The are expected to solve these problems by using the skills acquired during their studies and to document their solution in a written report.
At the beginning of the course the assignment is discussed with the supervisor. Once the topic has been fixed students work on the topic and regularly report to the supervisor, to get feedback on the work done, to report and discuss problems, and to plan further actions.
Discussion of project status during and demonstration of project results.
Not necessary
Competence to solve problems, self management, funtional, methodical and practical skills required to work on the individual assignment.
