Aim of course

* Knowledge about how the scientific community works * Ability for autonomous literature study * Ability to illustrate a given topic concisely in a well strucutred written document, with properly cited references * Ability to present a given topic in a suitable presentation style using modern media

Subject of course

An elaboration of a given topic within the areas of "Embedded Systems" or "VLSI Design" shall be summarized in a written document and orally presented. An overhead and a video beamer are available for the oral presentation. The presentations are recorded on video and the presentation style is analyzed in the group.
