After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

• present the topic of their master thesis and its relevance to the curriculum
• choose suitable methods for the chosen topic
• define and present a suitable solution
• evaluate the chosen solution
• defend poposal and thesis

Presentation of diploma thesis by students (two weeks before the formal hand-in of the dissertation).

• Additional lecture on writing and presentation skills.
• Presentation and discussion of the diploma thesis, discussion of the chosen topic, methods, results to be obtained, and the presentation (skills).
• Feedback should help the students to prepare for the defense.

This seminar is obligatory for students of the master Medizinische Informatik.

To attend the course, students must enroll through TISS (to obtain access for the TUWEL page).
