The goal of this seminar is to provide master students with additional support for preparing their Master thesis, including drafting their master thesis proposal and preparing the final presentation for the defense. Students get feedback from professors in logica and computation and can learn from the presentations of their colleagues. The seminar also helps students identifying their interests and finding topics for their prospective Master thesis.
This seminar involves the following tasks:
The seminar will start with a few optional introductory lectures given by the lecturers (foundations of scientific working and how to present a scientific paper).
The seminar has three presentation days, which are synchronized with the Master thesis submission deadlines of the Dean's office. To book a slot for your presentations, please consult (in time!) your supervisor.
