Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the basic differences and common grounds of information science and economics. For both disciplines, a thoroughgoing introduction and critique are provided. 

Subject of course

This lecture presents a survey of the economics of information. Selected topics and models are discussed and diverse background material is made accessible.
