After successful completion of the course, students are able to create a engineering concept for a process and develop the design of the plant. They can evaluate these processes according to various criteria and also analyse its ecological impact.
This lecture provides the basic knowledge of process development from a feasibility study to a concept for design development and planning into the test (pilot) phase, validation toto the production and operation of a plant with a special focus on the multi-criteria assessment methods for the evaluation of sustainability (environmental protection, economic development, social justice).
The contents are taught through lectures, calculation examples, analysis of plants and processing of various tasks and questions.
