Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyse from which sustainable resources which products can be produced. Furthermore the students can describe the actuellen state of development for the specific product routes as well as to describe which further research demand is necessary.

Subject of course

- Definition of boundary conditions for the use of biogenous raw material

- Potential of the material production from biomass

- Utilization scenarios for various biogenous raw material

- Discussion of necessary treatment steps for the production of the products

Teaching methods

Formulation of the of basics for the available substrates and explaination of the different production processes
