Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to descibe 4 of the most important classes of industrial microorganisms: E. coli, filamentous fungi, C1-users and yeasts. We will focus on the biology and genetics of these microorganisms.

The course will focus on biology and genetics of industrially relevant microorganisms belonging to groups of bacteria, yeasts and filamentous fungi.
