Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to perform an evaluation of combustion experiments using modern analysis devices, as well as basic charactrization and analysis of solid and fluid fuels

Subject of course

Basic characterization and analysis of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels. Experiments to determine boiling range and flameability of fuels and biooils and ignition behavior of gas burners with the application of modern laser technology. Determination of kinetic data in a modern laboratory scaled unit (FRU Formation Rate Unit)
