Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to acknowledge the complexity and the interplay of the levels of gene regulation in eukaroytic organisms. Some of these levels, they will understand better.

Ogranization of specific transcription complexes, transcriptional regulation via chromatin remodelling, regulatorische RNAs, epigenetics

Teaching methods

Introduction into regulatory mechanisms that are specific for eukaryots, presentation of scientific publications about topics that are relevant for this lecture, discussion of these research studies.
