After successful completion of the course, students are able to make a comparison of measures for the primary and secondary reduction of air pollutant emissions, to propose the necessary apparatuses and to incorporate these process-specifically into the exhaust gas duct.
Fundamentals of NOx-removal (SCR, SNCR), desulphurisation, removal of dioxins, catalytic and thermal treatment of industrial waste gases.
The lecture will be held in presence.

An examination (60 min) by TUWEL is used to test the knowledge of the different primary and secondary measures to reduce air pollution. TISS Registration is necessary!
The online exam takes place via TUWEL.
The TUWEL course can be reached via TISS.
As part of the online exam, ten multiple choice questions must be answered within 60 minutes. Each of the ten questions is rated with 10 points. There is at least one answer to every question.
All documents (including the internet) may be used.
