Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to carry out simple analysis of plant materials and interpret the data obtained. This inlcudes evaluation of HPLC data with respect to anthocyanins and  anthrachinones.

Non destructive gel electrophoresis (PAGE) of enzyme extracts from wood,   Analyses of pigments from plants or food by HPLC and TLC, Isolation and characterization of pigments frpm Rubia tinctorium
