Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyze problems in the area of reaction kinetics and combustion, to know the underlying chemical reactions and to use this knowledge for technical applications.

Subject of course

Combustion Chemistry and engineering aspects will be presented. Examples from gas oxidation, solid fuel combustion, pollutant formation and design of combustors will be given.
