Aim of course

Aim of the course is to teach the basic engineering and the desin of combustion systems.

Subject of course

The course consists of three main parts: Part 1: Characterisation of fuels Part 2: Basic equations for the combustion process and dimensioning of the combustion system Part 3: Design and operation of combustion systems Solid, liquid as well as gaseous fuels and the respective combustion systems are content of the course.
